Event Description
- This event has been organized since 2002 with the aim of promoting home-based women entrepreneurs by providing a platform to showcase their creativity through different products and services. The Teej festival was first organized in 2002 at Hotel Shangrila. Later, the event was held at Hotel Radisson from 2003 to 2006. Then, for 11 years from 2007 to 2017, the event took place at DECC, UWTC Building, featuring around 150 stalls. Due to the increase in the number of women entrepreneurs, the event was moved to Bhrikutimandap and a new concept called “Consumer Expo” was introduced. This new concept was a success, with more than 200 exhibitors and over 100,000 visitors supporting women. Last year, the event was held at Amrapali Banquet, Baluwatar, and attracted more than 10,000 visitors. The successful event lasted for 3 days.
